  • no more telling them what to do comments, they did it like that to blow it quick and easy so they could send it back for warranty, thats all. and then returns a brand new woofer

  • Hook a several in series to bring up the resistance and keep the load under 15A it might actually work -- and piss off some neighbors

  • you meant 60 Amps of current. Still enough to blow a breaker. And 60 A * 120 V = 7,200 Watts.

    They should have used a stove or dryer outlet.

  • 120 Volts over 2 Ohms = 60 watts of power. 700 Watt speaker?.. Yeah, for 1 second max output, then 5 minutes of cooling @ 0 watts.

  • Obviously, the protection..

    Cant give that current.
