I think the problem is the Founders had no idea what kind of dumbasses would be running the country 200 years later. They made a grave mistake and assumed common sense would prevail in the future. Thus, they didn't write a 25,000 page document stating everything the government can't do (the Congress shall not force the people to invest in a retirement program designed to rob them, etc.). The most convincing argment is why would they include Amendments 9&10,negating the general welfare clause?

Whoever's wrote section 8 had no idea the absolute pain in the ass it was going to be...same with the 2nd amendment >.>

I know who is most well known for being responsible for section 8, but it is debatable whether it was their idea to write in this clause which ...even in that time had to be interpreted as pretty open ended.

Judging by his obsession with video games, his excited repetition of the word "ignorant" as if he had just learned the word, and his similes of social security & taxes with slavery as if he just read Atlas Shrugged (more likely watched it), I'm going to guess he's 14-15 years old.
