@allpinkeverythingg U mean the western part of north carolina. The eastern part is the coast/beach which is where i live(wilmington). BUT i was born & lived in winston salem 15 years of my life(im 16) & i AGREE WIT U. I THINK I HAVE MAYBE A COUNTRY ACCENT BUT NOT STRONG ENOUGH FOR ME TO HEAR IT AT ALL !

Does SC sound different then NC? And what do people from California sound like to you. Not Valley girl style just the average Cali slang.
-
U sound like my Tennessee friend exactly like her. Same accent too
-
You don't talk like an North Carolinian. Sounds like an Alabama person.
-
Totally agree little lady. YOU are the real McCoy

Those of us that are from the eastern part of NC don't sound like this at all.. Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High-Point (Forsyth County.. Triad Area) I wonder why? It's weird. We say ya'll, but not the strong stereotypical southern accent. I can't find any videos with my accent! :/

I live in Duplin county and alot of ppl sound like just like u around here. I've heard stronger accents, mine isn't as strong as urs though. and I've never left the state either... sad little me
How come I don't sound like this?! :( So, so mad right now. I'm barely Southern, even though I myself hail from NC.
