@burchified I don't thing you should ever give a woman you love a black eye. A slap is sufficient. I remember doing this to my girlfriend and afterwards (after the initial shock) she became SO attached to me. Even to this day she has a respect for me that she never gives to her husband. But I would never give a woman swollen or black eyes. Thats abuse.

@49fiori while you are brought up to believe what you said, these days, women DO hit men and use weapons. If you still hold that believe, you will hesitate and it would be your life that is lost! Remember that "slapping" is just one way to deal with a fight, on the other hand, women have many other ways to hurt men. In case you have not been up to date, the media is consistently showing men getting hit by women, of course, the excuse is always that the men were bad!!
