mcclure, im a jr.firefighter for a station in NC and although i do agree this kid is a little young to be operating a booster line by himself with no one backing him on the hose, i disagree wiht not letting kids run calls...they can teach you all u want in rookie school, but it wont do any good unless your out experiencing what goes on first hand. Ive been running calls since i was 10 with my father and no class has taught me more than what ive learned on scene of a working fire

Everyone acts like he is breaking the law who even said there was a fire, maybe there traing or doing mop up. Everyone needs to calm the hell down at least he is under some supevision and not out there by himself

wtf my dad has been a firefighter my whole life and i got to put out small fires when i was little and im 16 now and a jr firefighter with a lot more experience than some people that on the fire dept

@wes2866 amen to tht been firefightin since i was 14 fixen to be eighteen an going to rookie school in tennessee nothing has taught me more than true expirience classrooms only good if u actually use it.kudos to the kid!!!

I think you sent the comment to th wrong person. Thats ok. I was a paid Firefighter in San Francisco and a volunteer in my little town where I lived. I took every opportunity to do this sort of thing with proper supervison as you do. My son is now a paid Firefighter in the Sacramento area. Have fun let them squirt water and delete the stupid comments. They are only young once.
