Regular GE compression is 9.5:1, GTE is 8.5:1 VVTI is the only one with 10.5:1.... And they're all able to take 15 psi with ease for years. i boosted my vvti for 1.5 years on 14 psi before i switched to GTE to increase the boost. Please dont spread wrong info, and verify everything u hear.

ok, well if you read the entire thread when i said 2jz-gte i meant a stock single turbo. and the Usdm 2jz-vvti as naturally aspirated variable valve timed engine. and maybe you could explain where you were ever even involved in this conversation to begin with.

that is not correct. the US version comes with the 2JZ-GE, the jap version had the 1JZ-GTE, both the US and jap v8s shared the 1UZ-FE. some of the cars in this vid has swapped in the 2JZ-GTE from the toyota supra turbo.

i just have a quick question i notice that a lot of 2jz sc300 usually have dual exhaust but would it make any dirffernce having just one?

not really, its all in what your goals are. this car has since gone to a singe 5 inch exhaust if memory serves.
