This is "Schism" from Lateralus.
The tuning is DADG.

This bass is not a Wal, it's a custom made bass which is based on a Wal MK2 model.

Do you have low action on this bass? I never can make the hammer-ons in the main riff sound right (from C to D on the D string). I always lose the actual sound and definition of the note when I hammer on to the twelfth fret. Would you think lower action would help (I play with medium high action)?

@sc45470 yes I definetly have a low action, it helps a lot. But when you hit the strings to hard, you'll have this fret's sound. Personnaly I like it, but it's up to you :)

The Boss bass overdrive pedal at 6:13 ate the low end beyond belief. Was that set near 100% wet or something?
