I'm blown away at how Mr. Curry was able to take a "plain" (and not exactly fast) forward camel spin and transform it into such a **gorgeous** and moving concluding maneuver to the program.

I agree with you, we don't see the like of John Curry in today's figure skating competitions. Today's skaters are simply dull and boring lacking what John Curry and Toller Cranston real artists on ice.

Love both Toller Cranston, just viewing this makes me wonder where is skating going don't watch today there doesn't seem to be the same excitement as skaters such as both John Curry and Toller created it seems more athletic now than graceful and lyrical

Sob! My absolute fave. I adore Toller, but could watch John just stroke around the rink, just wonderful.

Funny, My feeling exactly, Love Toller and John is so good. I don't watch skating today so I'm stuck in ther 70's and 80's. Best
