i own every placebo CD :)

i own hondreds and hondreds of CD's. you cant compare a cd collection to a list of files on a screen. Its just not the same.

i completely agree with what he's saying, and personally i dont even like buying downloads, CDs are so much more satisfying and i love the artwork that goes with it, it also makes me feel good that a little bit of extra money that doesnt make too much of a difference to me is going to the band that created it. however, im pretty sure i read an older interview with him before where he mentions how he stole CDs at the time which bugs me a little even if this speech is just a warning not a scolding

I definitely agree with Brian's opinion on illegal fire sharing. Reminds me of Amanda Palmer's rant on the same subject last year. I appreciated his comparisons, it all makes a lot of sense. Thanks for sharing this interview, meineLouise3!
