You guys don't seem to understand how powerful this theme is. This is the grandfather of all battle themes.

@Volviert Obviously Nobuo's not gonna be a douche and name himself big boss of game music. Just because he praised another composer does not mean that composer is > Nobuo. There is nothing factual about that statement at all.

For it's time this battle theme is absolutely fuckin' AWESOME. It makes no sense to compare it to any RPG afterwards since the modern JRPG format can be traced back to the first three DragonQuest games. Look at it for what it is.

@Volviert Or maybe due to Japanese culture, he was showing honor and respect to a fellow composer. It's not a FACT one is better than the other, they're both amazing composers. Everything doesn't need to be pitted in a VS. matchup. This modern culture always feels the burning desire to do it though :/
