Stock 5mge 1985 Cressida Burnout

The start of my Cressida Project car entails removing the old, stock 5mge engine. Before I ruined my baby, i decided one last burnout would be in order. Unfortunately, the engine is so tired, a "friction modifier" needed to be used to get the tires spinning. 150hp only goes so far.

Does this 85 Cressida have the sold on piece differential with the disc brakes.

are you talking about a solid rear axle? if so, no, only the wagons had the solid rear, in the mx73 generation. Had rear discs

yup its possible, manual makes it easier, but you can definitely do it in auto.

I want to give my 5mge Crown engine a freshen up where could I buy non genuine parts or a complete rebuild kit as I presuming you had to rebuild yours.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

I got my 1986 5m-GE o do so without spray. :D
