For those of you that may not be able to hear our voice over, here is what's being said by our narrators, a money management mentor and our robot-voiced piggy bank, here is what's going on:
The 7 Wonders of the... SMMC? What's that?
SMMC stands for the Student Money Management Center, an organization started by Student Financial Services (USFSCO) to help students prepare for financial stability... and baller status!
The first stop on our quest to reveal the 7 wonders of SMMC is "Peer Mentors"... The truth about these peeps is that you now have someone to go to for advice on how to overcome financial obstacles and prepare for your future... peer mentors know what it's like... they've been there... and you don't have to worry about your biznass gettin' posted on facebook either.
When it comes to your cash flows our iBudget helps show you the BIG picture so you know EXACTLY what's coming in and what's going out! There's 2 parts to this awesome tool: a video to give you some basics about personal finance and then the budget builder... where you can visualize where your money is headed!
www.studentmoney.uillinois.edu is a really long URL, BUT sometimes you have to do a little work to get to baller status... so stop whining and type! SMMC's website has been evolving and continues to do so as we grow. Leave some feedback on the discussion board or email us if you'd like to see something different. That's what we're here for!

Twitter can be overwhelming with all those Tweets, Retweets, direct messages, mentions... the list goes on and on... but don't worry! SMMC also has a FACEBOOK! It's in your destiny, just like it's in your destiny to be successful! Let's make it happen!
Another extremely important wonder of SMMC is our mad skillz with seminars and workshops. Maybe you're part of a student organization or fraternity that likes learning personal development skillz (like budgeting) or you know a professor that would enjoy having some peer mentors come talk to your class about preparing for graduation and the financial hardships that often exist in the "real world". Email us and we'll be happy to give you the low down!
And the final wonder of SMMC is CONTESTS! Occasionally, the SMMC will run contests that allow participants to win prizes like a gift card to the book store! Comes in extra handy for buying books and being super studious... and AWESOME! Make sure to look out for prize-winning opportunities on our website, facebook page, or twitter feed.
