The Need For Repetition
Between the Buried and Me
The Silent Circus
2003
Victory Records

Lyrics
Whip the child, stretch that child... drag them through your dreams of lust...
Raise the skirt... stroke the thigh... leech!!
This blood will never clot.
It pours down the chin of every child, every life touched by your sick instinct.
Fucking whore, fucking whore of disgust.
Your life paid by the sweat of your disgusting sex.
Their innocent tears drenched every inch of life that went into those toys and beautiful minds.
Castrate the fuck.
Beat the fucker to death.

  • i noticed that im seeing a lot of guys on here listing Colors as their #1 BtBaM album, and im perfectly alright with that

personally, that was the very first BtBaM album i heard (Decade of Statues and Prequel to the Sequel) that got me into these guys (listened to Alaska w/ Alaska and Selkies soon after)

and from what im seeing, everyone is labeling Colors as BtBaM's trademark album

  • I think colors is still there best album the silent circus =]

  • personally, if i were to list all of my favorite BtBaM albums in order, it would be a bit like this

    1. Colors

    2. Alaska

    3. The Silent Circus

    4. S/T

    5. TGM

  • @CodyHarris0069 Dude! How can you put The Great Misdirect last?!?!?!? for me it is:

    1.Colors

    1.TGM

    1.The Silent Circus

    1.S/T

    1.Alaska

(they are not in preferable order :D)

  • @danevati well that list was around the time when i was first listening to TGM, figured i might have needed to listen to it a bit more

but meh, might as well take that list down, every song (every album) is as awesome as it is

  • @mattcarlover 2:52 reminds me of Opeth, really love that part :)

  • @danevati TGM was honesty the first BTBAM album I heard, and was also my first experience with prog metal. I only listened to that until I listened to the other albums like, a year and a half later. For me, it's

    1. TGM

    1. The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues

    1. Colors

    1. Alaska

    1. The Silent Circus

    1. S/T

  • i could listen to that break in the middle on a loop for DAYS

  • this song makes me think of how maya angelou was raped and when others found out about it, they had the guy killed.

  • colors is wack the silent circus is definitely their best album...

  • 1. Colors

    2. TGM

    3. Alaska

    4. Silent Circus

    5. Hypersleep

    5. S/T

    6. Anatomy

Colors and TGM are just masterpieces.

  • @hamcheesecola 6/8+6/8+7/8=19/8

  • could someone tell me the time signature on the breakdown? its fucking sick

  • @CodyHarris0069 i was wonder wtf that shit was that came on after the silence
