  • @FightFancom Toney is a Foney.

  • pardon?

  • @47TheSteve I have been reading your comments with other people on this board and it seems no one is even good enough to debate with you. You have misunderstood what I was saying and you are trying to combat with pseudo intellectual posturing. In the end I like to keep things simple so I would say to you, nobody likes a smart arse. And its 'alluding' not 'eluding' but you new that anyway didn't you?

  • @Easyandy100 Seriously, if you're still running a 100 yard dash 8 minutes later when everyone else has already finished & gone home it doesn't mean you're still in the race. It simply means you're still running. I can't even exchange with someone who's simply here to exchange. No disrespect, but I'm too used to discussing issues with deep thinkers & that simply isn't the case here.

You conjure false scenarios then contradict yourself, thus negating your own contention. Weird.

    Gotta block.

  • @Easyandy100 You say: "If we knew then every person would be aware of the outocome negating the need for competition" then you contradict yourself by saying previously that by the very nature of a boxer he will win. Which is it, we don't know the outcomes & therefore require competition or we know the outcomes & therefore boxers "by their very nature will win? I'm too used to belonging to philosohpical forums where critical thinking is the order of the day. You're your own worst enemy. Wow!

  • @Easyandy100 But the conversation we're engaged in isn't the competition you're eluding to as you deflect from what is, that being the fight & the fight game itself.

A boxer by their very nature will win a fight? What is that? A boxer by their very nature will fight a fight, but by the nature of nature itself there is no presupposing unless you're psychic and even then it's a crap shoot. A boxer is human, period, so by their very nature stand as diametrically-assured of losing as any human.

  • @47TheSteve As a spectator sport it is only natural for sentients to suppose and this is the precursor of competiton. If we knew then every person would be aware of the outocome negating the need for competition. A boxer will, by their very nature win a boxing match. An MMA fighter MAY lose against a boxer as MMA by its nature includes boxing which the MMA may fail at. Supposing every thing was perfect then MMA would be superior but I have yet to see evidence of this. I have falsified nothing.

  • Listen gang, "thinking" is not "knowing." So, while you are indeed entitled to your opinion, and I respect that, please don't come across as though you "know" more than you do because I promise you you don't. Men are brutal when it comes to backseat driving. I've never lost a match from a sideline. But what's more telling is that I never won one either. If you're not a fighter, then by all means render opinions, but I assure you, the buck stops there. It's the fighter & skill not style.

  • @Easyandy100 You're predicating a scenario based on supposition. How can you say a boxer would win in a boxing match & a boxer might win in an MMA match? You're creating an argument to suit your contention. That's falsifying evidence. I reiterate, if you're not a fighter who's done both your contention is all but moot. Kimbo was never supposed to be deadly. He was an amateur street fighter. Toney makes no excuses for losing nor should his fans for him. It boils down to the fighter & skill level.
