seems to me that he was referring to beginner riders which a pro board is no the best board to learn on but as far as price goes goto ebay I bought a S4 fly for 200.00 brand new in the factory box ,glad i didn't pay 600.00 for it because its already showing signs of stress from landing in the flats .but i do use it 6 to 8 times a month
Get something cheap. A high end board will out perform you, and make riding much harder than it should be. Get a board that has either a continuous, or subtle three stage rocker. DO NOT buy a pro board, it will only make things harder. Go or an old Apex or Era... super sticky, great pop, and tons of fun.
@abouda2008 you shouldnt buy high end boards like those until you know for sure what kind of rider you are... you dont want to buy a 700 dollar marek then realize you like to ride rails and couldve bought a 300 dollar ps3 grind... my tip to you buy a cheap board on craigslist or somethin use it for a year, clear the wake, try some rail stuff like that then decide what you want
i'm a beginner (working on clearing both wakes) i'm considering buying the watson hybrid, watson 2010 or the hyperlite murray 2010 so which one should i get?
