Here's Robert Miller singing "Rave On" from his Tribute To Buddy Holly show. Buddy originally released this song in 1958. 30 years later, John Cougar Mellencamp released a cover version, which I personally found to lack the energy & emotion of Buddy's original classic recording.

@RobertJeffreyMiller Well, that's one of the worst responses to give, you can dislike something without the ability to do it yourself. I myself can't play this song half as good as you, and I can't sing as good as you, but I didn't really like it... The singing is false enough for me to notice it (and according to people, I'm pretty bad at noticing it), over-all, you did everything right "technically", but it lacks one thing.

an honorable cover. I was lucky enough to hear Buddy Holly when he was alive--and this cover has the sincerity and humility that Buddy Holly displayed in his performance.

@violinroy what do you do, find someone playing Buddy Holly and type in "This is horrible" ???. I've seen this same remark from you on other Buddy Holly videos. Why don't you get yourself a hobby or something?
