Definitely agree. I make it a point to, when I first meet someone, treat them like we've been friends for month. Skip all the bullshit pleasantries of "first conversations", cut the awkwardness, be outright and comfortable. That method's gotten me more worthwhile friends and meaningful relationships than the mindgames ever could.
