Kitesurfing flying using a power kite and surfboard is a new sport. The video shows good close-up views of flying and jumping. Kitesurfing to surfers can make the Midwest seem like the California coast.
Kitesurfers use power kites attached to a harness to glide through the water and leap, jump, and fly above it. The current speed record is 77 kilometers per hour.
Note the kitesurfers as they fly, jump, turn, surf upwind, and crash. Note also the many kinds of kites.

LOL this is just like snowboarding comments.
You have the new people learning that just want to go out and have fun, then you have the kids that think they are good, that say poser and dork a lot then you have the pros that don't care what anyone else does they just go out and have fun too.

cool video except the move at 4:01. That was uncool. I don't think one ever gets so good that you get the right to use other's heads as barely missable pylons. If you miss(and even the biggest egos do)what do you say?..."Sorry?
