The Executives: "Aren't You That Girl"

"Aren't You That Girl" recorded by The Executives at Overdub Lane Studios in Chapel Hill, NC.

The Executives are Tony Sharpe (guitar, vocals), Steve Worrell (drums, vocals), Mike Stanley (lead guitar), and Henry Hutton (bass, vocals).

How this was done: The audio recording from cassette was playing too fast, so the first thing was to slow the speed (using Audacity) to match-up with the analog video speed (in iMovie 7) as much as possible. Still, there are multiple cuts in the video to try to get the lip-syncing coordinated. Also, we didn't film the entire recording performance of "Aren't You That Girl," so with the exception of the vocals the clips of us playing instruments are from other songs recorded that day.
