I have and ace 250 also - ive have found gold rings, silver rings- and i have
filled a 5 gallon water jug with change just digging in parks and
play grounds. I have only owned it for 6mnths.
now im going to purchase a minelab excaliber.
parks and play grounds near swings and slides are very
productive. you will be digging quarters every foot or so.

More expensive detectors can't tell a pulltab or pop top between gold either buddy. Or else they'd never dig any trash at all. I'm sure they miss a lotta good stuff because they think their detectors are "iron clad" <(pun intended) on knowing the difference between all trash and goodies. lol If you dig everything above iron youll find more stuff. You'll just take more time digging. In the end it'll be worth it. I have the ACE 350 and it has way better iron disc than the 250. :)
