...very true about their solo voices. They have always been a great ensamble, but ok soloist. I also wish that they would not do instrumental albums and stick to the acappella sound that made them who the are/were.

Best 6 man acappella group to date I've heard. Bar nothing. Mark and Joey Kibble are great soloists. They just get bored with the easy stuff, they rarely do basic songs. Jazz-soul-acappella is what they do, but once in a while they do some basic song (within me/biggest part of me) and it hits. I wonder why Mervyn left them...

Mervyn left to become a producer. Joey took his place.

As Crazy as I am about Take 6. I have to say that their *strength* is their togetherness. Individually they are pretty good singers. Maybe not on the level as Stevie Wonder, Darryl Coley, Luter vandross, etc.. but thats ok. Their UNITY puts them on a level that cannot be compared to anyone out there. *DARE I SAY* If *Any* of the members of T6 ever did a Solo CD..I would say the Strongest singer would prolly be Mark Kibble. But because I personnaly LOVE his Falsesetto, I would buy CVM's Solo CD.
