VenomFangX makes more vague and bizarre assertions about evolution.

Come on, you Octopus! Get out of your comfort zone and evolve some more!

Anyone else notice that VenomFangX waited until after Thunderf00t took leave until he started posting his debunking videos again?

Here is part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZHZYbVk4ek

  • How is it possible to accept mutations and natural selection WITHOUT accepting evolution?

  • I know! I could have spent ages picking apart this stupid video! However, I was trying to do Calculus homework while making this video. I promise, not to do any more low quality stuff like this any more! :)

  • can't you explain the point of your arguement?(like why its not random?)

  • I was busy with my classes when I made this video. I felt I only had tome to simply point out the basic flaws in VenomFangX's argument. To correct everything wrong in his videos seemed like a daunting task.

  • No, natural selection actually is random. Dinosaurs were the most fit to survive, but randomly went extinct because of an asteroid. Fat people are less fit to reproduce than physically fit people, yet the fat population is thriving. Natural selection is not exactly "survival of the fittest" like they teach you in grade school.

  • I love how he said legs coming out of your head. I wonder if he ever heard of antennapedia?

  • I thought the quality was decent, the sound was too quite. Shawn's definition of evolution that he talks about is probably his creationist fantasy that it's the usual monkey fish frog morphing into a human in 1 generation, not the actual definition of random mutations & natural selection.

  • Indeed it is. Good video overall though.

  • I think PCS understands evolution, he's just so dogmatic he has to misrepresent it. He's warping it and pulling things out of his arse!

  • Its not that the mutations stopped, its that natural selection selected for it form. A octopus may have undergone some mutations that may seem advantageous to us, but natural selection didn't allow the octopus to proceed in that direction because it was not actually anymore beneficial to them. In short, the mutations never stop, matter of fact they occur at a predictable rate. Natural selection determines which mutations are beneficial.
