Comparison of the Digitech Bad Monkey, Digitech Screamin' Blues, and MXR Zakk Wylde distortion pedals. Using a Gibson SG (1984) and Univox U1226 tube amp.
@Lolomib I wish I'd have demo'd that. I love to run one distortion into another for unique sounds. I use that when I'm building a song's drive to a big finish.
great man! i have a question, if you use at same time the wylde overdrive and the bad monkey, you can get a good metal distortion? or only get a hard rocker distortion? Thanks!
@philipleigh The friend I borrowed the Screamin' Blues and the Bad Monkey from suggested I play single coils through them next time. Which I should have but didn't. It might have change the nuance of the pedals.
@supersmartan Sorry 'bout that. I have found a fix for the future videos.

Interesting! The Screamin' Blues doesn't sound as 'bluesy' to me as the other two.
