Haiti Earthquake 7.0- JANUARY 12 2010

The Island of Haiti, in the capital city of Port-au-Prince was hit with a 7.0 magnitude earthquake on January 12, 2010 before 5:00pm. There has been an estimated 100,000 deaths so far in a nation of 9 million people. Aid from all around the nations of the world are streaming into the island of Haiti. There are thousands of families that are displaced and hurt due to the nature of the severe quake. Many Haitians in the United States are trying their best to get in contact with their loved ones... Many are feared hurt or dead.

Organizations like the american Red Cross are already at the scene of this devastating aftermath. Please show your support by praying for the nation of Haiti. Also pray for the families and pray for the people who are Hurt. Please use this as an opportunity to help those that are in desperate need.

Whoever is laughing at these poor people now will face a more serious consecuense sooner or later. We all need to help with whatever we can because we never know if something like this could hit us too. my school in the past has held manny programs to give money to haiti and we still do, it has scared me and it still does watching the footage makes me remember all that happened that afternoon, please pray for those we lost that day it was a devstating loss for all those who died
