Hiking in the Style of JR HuffnPuff with his Sportkilt, MSR Tent, Osprey Backpack, and more.

JR HuffnPuff (city name of John Michael Hernandez) has hiked the Pacific Coast Trail and is now in process of thru- hiking the Appalachian Trail or AT in 2010.

His Sport Kilt (sportkilt.com) for hking caught our eye and he modeled it for us with a spin. Having hiked over 6000 miles, his choices are unarguable. He shows us his Osprey Atmos 65 backpack and MSR tent. And tells us about the hiking movie he appeared in in - Wizards of the PCT - (http://www.wizardsofthepct.com/) in 2008 and we see clips.

I remember meeting HR Huffnpuff on my thru-hike. I thought it was funny how he could hike with no shirt in cold temeratures. I think we were in VT when about 5 of us hitched a ride into town on a truck. I did get a photo of the guy--sans shirt, lol! I remember he said he was a writer by profession and had hiked all the way from FL.

i think i will be getting a kilt and hiking with it for now on. if it were up to me i would be hiking naked but certain laws prohibit that lol good vid!
