@Standard420247 Ya, it was certainly nostalgia for nostalgia sake, though I do have a soft spot for "reunion" films. The Chips reunion film was purely for fans who wanted to see thier favorite cops again, though now with beer bellies and greyish hair.

This is when the show "jumped the shark" as they say. I was a 'John' fan and believed Larry Wilcox's character was Ponch's counter-balance. Without him the show went downhill!
