Joe's POV:

It was only our third hour driving, and I was already on edge. Everything was bothering me. I mean, EVERYTHING. Nick coughed. I gave him the death glare. Kevin put the turn signal on. Death glare. I just need to sleep..

I went to put my head against the window to try and fall asleep, when Nicks phone went off. Before I could whip my head around to look at him, he spoke.

"Yeah Joe, save the death glare, I already know its coming." He was texting as he spoke, not looking up from the phone.

Silently, I turned back around and tried to sleep again. I think it worked.

Becca's POV:

I turned around, and there was my ex boyfriend, Ben. We had dated for 2 years. Then, he cheated on me. We havent spoken in 8 months. But he looked oddly happy to see me.

-Uhm.. hi Ben.- I waved awkwardly. He walked closer, and pulled me in for a hug. He's still wearing the same cologne. The cologne that knocked me off my feet almost three years ago.

Pulling away, I looked into his bright blue eyes. He was excited. Energetic. As always. "How have you been?!"

-I, uh.. Im..-

So I stood there, awkwardly trying to get my words out. Thank god for Ali, she stepped in.

"Benjamin, how great to see you! And I'd love for us all to stay and chat, but we really better be going." She grabbed my arm and started to pull me and Paige in the opposite direction. Ben took a step after us, but then stopped. Looking disappointed, he walked away.

Ali kept pulling us until we were out of sight. I didnt say anything. Paige noticed.

"You okay, Becca?"

I looked at her, and shrugged. Ali groaned.

"Becca, hes a scumbag! He cheated on you!"

Feeling hurt, I just looked away. No use in getting in an arguement now.

-Guys, I'm fine. I was just.. surprised to see him after all this time.-

They looked nervously at eachother, then back at me.

I laughed. -Really! Come on, lets just keep having fun today, okay?- I walked in between them and intertwined my arms in theirs.

Paiges POV:

We were having an amazing day, just the three of us, when my phone vibrated. It was my mom.

Text: Hey sweetie. I will not be coming home tonight, last minute business meeting in cleveland. Daniel should be home though, so you wont be alone.

My insides fell. I would rather be alone than with her alcoholic boyfriend.

I texted her back, trying not to look nervous around Ali and Becca. I mean, we havent hung out with eachother in awhile, but we were still best friends and they would still know if I was upset.

Text: Ok mom. I think ill sleep at Beccas tonight though.

I sent it, knowing she'd be surprised and ask me a bunch of questions about our reuniting. But I didnt feel like texting her anymore.

She doesnt care.
She never cared.

If she cared, she wouldnt have let Daniel move it.
If she cared, she wouldnt have left me alone with him.

If she cared, Daniel wouldnt have touched me.
