What a way to see in the New Year ! Quicksilver Messenger Service, Jefferson Airplane, and Big Brother And The Holding Company with the irreplaceable Janis Joplin all performing at a 9pm to 9am New Years Eve bash at the Winterland San Francisco .
At the end of the bands sets, the members of these 3 groups performed a free form jam to see in 1968 in style . ( Vocalists join in at 18 mins ) .
