AKBAYANIHAN: Bayanihan para sa Sambayanan

It has been a week since Tropical Storm Ondoy struck the Philippines causing unimaginable destruction to the lives of Filipinos in Metro Manila and the nearby provinces last September 26.

We have been doing relief work since September 27. The suffering and the hardships that we are witnessing is simply overwhelming. We cannot give up. We cannot stop.

In the midst of the devastation, we have also witnessed the generosity of people. Donations continue to come. Volunteers seem tireless despite the backbreaking and seemingly endless work.

This is our way of saluting the spirit of solidarity and the generosity of people (some nameless and faceless) who came to contribute to our humble efforts to come to the aid of Filipinos in need.
