I think you guys are doing a great job! Way to be proactive! Young people need to get more involved! This tragedy is so very sad. Is it too much to ask for one minute?

Thank you! We're continuing to raise awareness, and we will be speaking in Israel to university students as well as high school students about the initiative.

Thank you for your support, and please continue to help us raise awareness for this cause! Every signature helps. This is a mission to educate and raise awareness for something that happened in the backyard of the Olympics. We want to ensure that such a tragedy never happens again. In lieu of what happened in Colorado last week, I think this reiterates again the need to have this one minute.

It really seems that many people in the USA today are only extremely naive brainwashed mental puppets, dogs and servants of the USA`s Zionist JEWS and Israel. The Olympic Games are not a Zionist propaganda arena. Do you even realise there in the USA how extremely disliked country Israel is today in Europe and how deeply people in Europe and worldwide dislike Zionism. The USA today is under strong influence of Zionism and Israel. Because that the people in Europe commonly love to hate the USA.

Thank you, young beautiful people. I've signed petitions, contacted NBC (Olympics broadcasters) and Sir Paul Mc Cartney (will sing at the Olympics) to ask them to please speak to the Olympic Committee. May I suggest that Catholic University of America ask the Vatican for support. Unfortunately, the Olympics Committee seems not to understand Olympic spirit. Thank you again for this wonderful act of compassion.

I signed this petition several weeks ago and encouraged my family and friends to do the same. I was unaware of this video at that time. I was deeply moved by the generosity of spirit of these students. My name is Lindsey and I support the one minute of silence for the 11 victims of terrorism in Munich 1972.

Arab nations have threatened to boycott Olympics since Munich if the Israelis are honoured. Is that what those who pressurise the IOC into a one minute honour really want? I could more easily sympathize if there hadn't been a memorial service at Munich's Olympic stadium the morning after the tragedy. Forty years ago. The world has moved on and the IOC certainly learned from the tragedy - far more security.

The dead Israeli athletes might not have been honoured at London but one can be certain that the IOC has never forgotten this kind of terror act. Every Games has more security personnel than athletes, coaches etc., I once read a piece about the first summer games since Munich where the olympic village was described as a "collar of iron".

I am so touched with the students from CUA. I am unable to understand how ignorant people are unable to interpret why the CUA and many others want to memorialize THE ONLY participants that were killed by terrorist in the entire history of the Olympics. It is so sad that the few anti-semites are so corrupted with hatred to Israel.
