I never liked Bill Plaschke...he comes off as this self righteous guy, and revels in players mis-steps. Even though marriotti is an idiot as well, He's the worst on Around the Horn moreso than Marriotti.

Manny is a good player, but he sure doesn't hustle. Juan Pierre on the other hand hauls to every ball and works his tail off.
Manny is a great power hitter, but his back up sure wants to play more so than Manny.
If you only support the Dodgers cause of Manny, your not a real Dodgers fan.

i felt betrayed when the Dodgers signed the worthless piece of crap in the beginning. Sure, he hits a home run every week and a half, big woopie. I'd rather see Juan Pierre out there. He at least gives every ball a 100% attempt at playing it. And face it, you ignorant Manny-lovers, the Dodger's didn't do that Bad in his replacement. If we make it to the Series, I would give Manny only a 2/3 share. He shouldn't get paid at all for when he was sitting on his LAZY ASS.

manny did let us dodgers fans down but the rest of the team played great. now manny doesnt have to be the main figure for the dodgers all the time. but im sure glad hes back.

Pettite, Giambi, A-rod all apologized and were forgiven, this will be no different. We live in a very forgiving society. A-rod admitted to using and we don't even talk about it anymore. The same will happen to Manny. I wasn't surprised when I heard the news and I'm a dodgers fan. I just asked my friend "when is the 51st game and against whom"? That is the baseball world we live in. I don't know what Plaschke's problem is, like he's paying manny's salary, the fans do. He watches a game for free.
