Very well done! Tourist Trap is one of my all-time favorites (it's also one of Stephen King's favorites as well :) I first saw it when I was about 8 years old--the channel USA used to show really good, obscure horror movies on Saturday nights. And I'm jealous that you have the soundtrack because the music is spooktacular!

Very good review and insight. I'd seen it the other day here and it was amazing.
It seems like Tourist Trap(1979) and House of Wax(2005) were seperated at birth.

Seriously? The Halloween remake had a similar situation, with it seeming more like Friday the 13th than the original film.

The title(s) would suggest that, right? Unfortunately all they have in common is wax figures and a guy named Vincent.
