catalatregua Yeah, I love him too, love him to bits. They made some of the very best music of all of the eighties, and I have many of their songs on my i-Pod now..(Gee, time passes so quickly.."Heaven" is 25!!! years old now!

Yeah, it's a beautiful voice. But do you know what actually created his nice voice?His chain-smoking of cigarettes, actually. He's in his fifties now and still gives concerts, but his voice is extremely reduced now, if he tries to sing with the old, coarse voice for more than a few seconds, his voice breaks or he starts coughing.. Tragic really. Stay away from cigarettes, everybody! : )

They so captured the essence of what it was like living in the 80's.....this is such a great, great performance. Anytime I hear the Furs, I am instantly back in the 80's, and it's wonderful...such a great time in America.
