Let's Play Half Life 2 - Part 3: I'm Glad the HEV Suit is Bulletproof

...Well, maybe "bullet-resistant" would be more accurate. ;-)

I'm afraid I wasn't in the best frame of mind while recording this ep guys--quite a bad mood and quite stressed. If I waited til I was in the mood to record, though, it'd probably be months (or at least til I have income.) I say that not to whine, but so if I seem a bit more foul mouthed and less "WHOA!" than usual, that would be why. Forgive me.

On the ep itself--this was cool! Two big firefights, rockets firing at me, and not TOO much in the way of plot development. (With the huge exception being: HOLYCRAPVORTSTALKANDTHEYKNOWMYNAMEANDWTF?!?!?!?!)(I'll save the rest of that speculation for the next HL2 blog post though :D.)

@kratosisthegodofwar1 Yes for sure on the first one. In fact I'm going to start it as soon as I finish my LP of the original Portal. (Speaking of which, need to get a new episode of that up in the next day or two.) And yes, I would do a blind LP of New Vegas. I loved Fallout 3, and New Vegas is on my short list of games to buy as soon as I land a job that will make me fabulously happy and wealthy. ;-) (Also right after Skyrim, which I would ALSO consider LPing if enough people are interested.)

Gotta love SoldierHawke: she kicks a human skull and throws aside a segment of spine to get to a dead bird. Then she treks back and forth to cover up the bird. I would even bet she's the first person to do that, ever, in this game. All this after avenging herself on boxes for the sheer satisfaction.

i beleive i can explain the vorts. Did you ever notice the metal collars they were wearing? They were slaves to the Nihilanth, who saw the accident as a way to free him and his slaves from Xen. You killed him, the vorts went free.
