Seriously, Florida has the Lightning, a good hockey team with a cup championship. The Panthers are just crap, there is no reason to have two teams there and you are the weak sister.

Move the Panthers to Quebec.

@mrceebees14 The Panthers made a lot of really good trades over the Summer we got a really great team now great talent Dale Tallon was the the guy who put together the 2010 Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup Champs he will do the same for Florida If anything it will be the Pheonix Coyotes who will move to Québec or maybe the Blue Jackets

The Isles won't go anywhere as far as location within Long Island.

Better start buying season Lightning tickets, or move to Canada to watch the Panthers home games.

That is news, because they had loyal fan bases, but were.....like the panthers, a small market team. Your TV contract is not even good enough to make up the difference, all the Panthers had to do in the last TEN YEARS was be decent and the money would come in with some more sponsers possibly.

Doesnt that mean their fan base is pathetic? The panthers, in SOUTH FLORIDA, which you would think is everything but hockey, has been around 20th in attendance since 2005. This "huge market" called New york can barely support a second team, if they can. your hatred for the panthers is based off pure ignorance.

The Islanders 1) have a fan base 2) have deals from every burrough that wants the team, including Brooklyn with a brand new arena being built 3) play in a huge market called NEW YORK and 4) have a tv contract that is one of the most lucrative in sports, let alone the NHL.
