  • Did you l;ike Blackout, mtiller2006?

  • @nextbarker I was a newborn when this show was on, so I don't remember it. But when I see this show, I see a show that at least had some potential. I just feel the people didn't give it a fair chance because once it left, people were demanding Pyramid back

  • I remember seeing an intro to Blackout at the start of some TV movie a long time ago...if I remember correctly, it was playing on a TV inside a a booth some security guard would sit in. Except there was no guard there. And the camera panned away from the scene after only a few seconds anyway.

I wish I could remember the movie's name.

  • @SP84Fanatic Hmm...You make an interesting point.

  • @nextbarker Yes, he lost his daughter. He also suffered from chronic, intractable back pain for years, reportedly due to frequent, heavy lifting through his work on "Let's Make a Deal."

  • I wonder if the return of Pyramid from April to July 1988 was just filler until Family Feud could get several episodes in the can for air.

  • @nextbarker He's not bad, but I thought Johnny Gilbert was better.

  • You can't blame them, they loved $25,000 Pyramid for 6 years on CBS. Blackout was good, but Pyramid was better, no offense to TPIR.

  • What made him commit suicide? he lost his daughter?

  • Sounds like Jay Stewart had a little spunk announcing this show.
