I didnt know the young girl, but my family and I have been deeply affected by such horrible tragedy. I dont know what to say other than be strong and keep searching for the one or ones who did this to her. They need to face the same fate Norma had or worse! monster s like this should not be wandering our streets, our community! Everyone, please be more AWARE of your surroundings! i hope you guys find the killer that did that to her that was not okay that he did that to her i hope he goes behind bars!!!! forever cause is not okay if he is out here because he is a big time Murder he should go to jail forever because that was not far what he did to that pour young women but the good thing is that Norma Lopez is with god has her with him now she's just a angel love you Norma & RIP....

Great news everyone. On Oct. 20, 2011, Norma's sister announced on Facebook that Norma's killer is officially behind bars and awaiting trial!! Thanks to God and the hard working detectives that dedicated themselves to solve Norma's murder. Hopefully Norma gets the justice she deserves. R.I.P. Normita <3

why is everyone so hateful towards the killer(s)? the entire situation hasn't been revealed. and i've met many killers and i think anyone is worth a second chance.

@spirited64 I don't completely agree. I know that there are killers out there who are not bad people, but when a girl is abducted while walking to a friends house, and her body is found, semi-nude, a few days later..... her killer(s) should be shown no mercy.

@MARLYNCASTANEDA my uncle was tortured and buried alive after. but i forgave the killers. were i come from even kids are murders, you can get killed for just making eye contact . and thre aint justice there because the cops dont bother with murders. if a cop wants some extra cash he kills a man and makes a fake story. cops can even beat people they they give them all there money or till the poor guy dies. and yea these guys have gotten so many chances thats when it aint right

@spirited64 (PART 1)I am sorry about your loss and the law enforcement situation, but I just don't agree with that. I'm not trying to change your opinion but that's just the way I feel. My life dream is to be a sheriff deputy because of situations like yours(the corrupt law enforcement). I don't like these types of things occuring and I am very passionate about justice. I didn't even know Norma but I made this video the day they found her body as a way to cope with what happened to her.

@spirited64 (PART 2)Since I heard on the news that she was missing, I prayed to God that she would be found safe but she wasn't. And now her case motivates me even more to become a sheriff. I want stricter laws and punishments for murderers, rapists, pedophiles, etc. The only time that someone is justified to hurt another human being is in self-defense, otherwise they are cowards and nothing else. I just have a different point of view than you do. (And I don't mean to offend you in any way.)
