Teens Arrested for Throwing Rocks at Cars

They played a dangerous game, and someone could have been killed. Now, two 14-year-olds face serious charges for hurling rocks at cars on I-94. FOX 2's Robin Schwartz tells us the shocking reason the teens say they did it.

2 Metro-Detroit teenagers were arrested for throwing rocks at cars because they were bored of playing video games.

Good, they deserve it. They are freshmen in high school!, they should know better by now. I could understand if it was just a young kid.. but a kid in high school? Come on.. they should know better to not throw rocks at cars. They wouldn't be laughing if it caused an accident and killed an innocent family.

Hopefully, the judge will see this as an aggressive act, and charge the parents with the cost of repairing those six teen cars. The boys decided to do the act, and either the parents should ante up, or hold it over until they are 18 and give them the bill. Include law enforcement hours, any lost wages, and any costs like rental cars for the victims.

Where I live this kid who was a few years younger than me, him and his friends decided that they were going to go out onto the highway and dodge cars and throw stuff at them. They got what was coming to them when one kid was hit and the driver didn't stop after she hit him, he died soon after.

@jmilfker Btw, I'm pretty sure you'd feel differently if it was your own property...Hell, I'm sure these "boys" would hate for it to happen to their property as well. Not to mention, I have to put a claim on my insurance and raise my rates over their antics? Are we really disagreeing about their actions being uncalled for?  Oh, and a woman was killed when a rock thrown by immature children shattered her window as she was driving...but apparently that doesn't make this wrong?

@jmilfker I'm sorry, I guess I should say they are being rude or disrespectful because they have no concern over damaging property that is not their own. I like that the next thing they could possibly be doing with their time is setting fires or gangbanging my non-existent daughter.
