Hundreds of Goblins running realtime on the Offset Engine.

---- Gameplay Systems

Offset's "simulation" code and entity system makes new gameplay systems extremely easy to implement. New entity code automatically gets exposed to the editor's interface, so that no editor specific code has to be written to support new gameplay code.

The engine is capable of displaying large numbers of entities on the screen while maintaining a smooth frame rate. Below is a simple test of goblins spawning from a teapot, yet demonstrates the engines ability to draw hundreds of characters on screen.

  • @Vikinatorn yup, it was.

  • @Hugt1 No, i believe the game was cancelled :(

  • @Vikinatorn It probably won't be released...nothings perfect...

  • FYI game has been cancelled =/

  • i have my fingers crossed for this game. It is still so mysterious however, very few details or info. Even the website is scarce

  • Never judge a game by its trailer and by someone elses gameplay, but you must experiance it yourself then you will only recieve the fantasy out of it.

  • only pc...

  • Agreed. I was always thinking how cool it would be in Oblivion if when you shoot a fireball it actually blows up walls and stuff. I mean, if a game designer should make short, but very detailed levels with cinamatic quality and high based descruction level then I would be a happy camper.
