  • The brand was saved from being sold.. Hahha thats one way of saying they tried to sell it since 2007 but according to themselves, got no credible offers.

  • I want a viper that could from 0-273mph you got it? Good.

  • @Hendrixidol Gotcha, well yes you are correct that they will have to comply; however, hopefully it will be very easy to turn one or both features off. Secondly, I understand the benefits and engineering genius that goes into an F1 style gearbox. However, it is only truly beneficial and fun when it is on the track. The rest of the time it is just annoying. I hope you do get the opportunity to own one, fortunately I have been able to secure one. The raw simplicity of the car is what I love!

  • @CTSV4MEE Of course I don't own a Viper, yet. I'm an 18 year old that works and goes to school! And I prefer a true manual gearbox, that's all I've ever driven, or am allowed to drive lol, I tend to not treat automatics as "respectfully" as I'm supposed to per my folks. But less than 5% of vehicles now days have manual. At least let there be the option so that everyone can enjoy the beauty of Viper. And besides, Dodge is forced by law to have to add traction and stability by 2012.

  • @Hendrixidol from the sound of it, you don't own or haven't owned a Viper. If you did, you would know that traction control, stability control, and especially taking the 3rd pedal out of the car is exactly what would kill the new Viper. The Viper is a true "man's" car and it takes respect and skill to master it. Besides that, the Viper is among the most rare mass produced cars ever. Less than 25,000 were EVER built in its 19 years of production. Over 60,000 Ferrari's were built those 19yrs

  • I own a 750hp DODGE VIPER srt10 and PROUD of it and all of its rawness! I do not want a dodge lambo, dodge ferrari, dodge alfa, dodge merc or dodge audi! Keep it uncivillized where the average moron has to LEARN HOW TO DRIVE IT RESPONSIBLY! The viper is so unique and i do not know why in the hell you guys will want it to be like EVERYBODY else! Sell more minivans if you are strapped for cash. don't whore out the last great supercar that we will ever see! ARE YOU LISTENING?!

  • @PentastarVideo I think you guys should add things like stability control and traction control, to compete better with the European market. The Viper is the ONLY supercar that us Americans have. When Chevy and Ford were still using V8s, you guys dropped in a V10 and some unique craftsmanship and styling to create a well respected supercar that could hang with the best of them! Maybe add optional F1 style paddle shifters for those who can't handle a true manual tranny sales would only go up!

  • Factory has moved Europe and their getting help from Alfa

  • Totally agree with the above statement!!! Viper is unique car!!! Dodge must not follow the "crowd"
