I start this beginners guide to Final Cut Pro by attempting to give an overview of the interface in my usual incoherant style.

  • YESSS finalyy someone that can help mee i need help with the importing my media or videos most likely soo comment me back plzz and ill send you a messege with more details :)

  • @nakedvolleyball god you hit it right on the nail man. goddamn why make the screen follow the freakin mouse? why not just let us see the entire screen? and his voice is so gay, and slow at explaining shit. he gives us too much freakin commentary and does a really shoddy job at "teaching" us the basic interface. why not just point at features and explain them? tell us steps of what is being done, and the end goal. it all feels so aimless and idiotic.

  • What is it with mac people and this follow the mouse shit? I'm trying to be understanding of Mac faggotry, but this is making it rather difficult.

  • @12321qwa lol

  • what on earth you doing with the mouse, it was flyin all ovr the sreen , try a few long shots of hole screen so it easier to see

  • try to convert your files to DV format, download a conversor online, its easy, the sound maybe need to render, but only once

  • This was very helpful. Thanks.

  • when i click log and capture with my camera attached, a pop up comes up and says "capture preset digitizer is not set. An audio/video digitizer must be set" or something similar to that, the "preview disabled" screen comes up like on your video. what does this mean?

  • Thank you again!

  • No worries.. Just go to the "Finalcut pro" menu (top left) Then go to "Preferences" and under the "Timeline options" tab check the little box that says "show audio waveforms".
