  • it's actually really interesting to watch this without seeing the pencil lines XD

question about your pen: it's the same as a caligraphy pen?

  • yep, it's in the calligraphy section. But the tip opens when you press down so you can get a thick and thin line.

  • great artwork also great ending... hehe

  • A terrific commentary - even more on the art of comic construction and comic timing than just inking! :)

  • @ColtartX Dude watch the video! It looks pretty versatile, don't you think? Hunt nibs are pretty crappily made nowadays, tho' and you're better with a G-nib, they can do everything a Hunt 102, 109, 107 etc (they're all crowquills and they're all pretty similar) can do. And they don't tear up the paper as much as a Hunt does, either. That's just in my experience, though...

  • hey got a funny question but why did you name it devils panties?

  • MEAT AND TATERS!!!!

and then the video stops for me

even though it's loaded all the way :(

  • Lol i noticed that your nib is HUGE thats one long nib is it more over like a g nib or school nib or in other words a versatile or thick line nib?

  • OMG! I love that one & it's so true! The more you talk the more I like the way you think. Your Condom comment is like my motto! I love kids but there's a time & place for everything. (Oh it's not called College!) :D

  • 2 reasons: 1. Yup, you press too hard. 2. Maybe you're moving it in the wrong direction o_ou... maybe...

  • The nib will catch on the paper (ugh... had that happen too many times in the past) if it's not smooth enough.

Unfortunately I've been drawing on the paper from sketchbooks and that means it catches quite a bit...

And about calligraphy pens, you can use dip pens for caligraphy. Something I have not learned.

Thought you might want pens of diff. thicknesses, ones with a flat edge. All mines have a pointed edge. Speedball sketching set.

I have bad control over the pen so far but Im learning ._.
