@TheDrummerTy Ink? And i didn't mean that in an aggresive way, just trying to fit in all the words! Sorry about that, you didn't come off as a dick so no worries! With out it being written down it's impossible to know, though most likely would be counted in 3 by the guys. Though i'm (for me, personally) sticking to 6/8! But it doesn't matter either way, as it's music! As long as we appreciate and enjoy it, that's all that matters :D (is what i meant by the end before)

@AttitudeCastle Wasn't trying to be a dick, i was just saying, and this would be a fast waltz, but fast. could be 6/8, but i doubt it, that's alot of ink.

@TheDrummerTy A waltz is more like tempo 80-100 at crochet time, this would be more like 130 (circa) crochet beat. Though obviously based on the rhythm, I'd guess what you're taking to be one beat, i'm taking as one bar based on the strumming pattern thats how i counted it as soon as i heard it. The sort of flowing feel make me think this is 6/8. Like I said, it could quite easily be 3/4 or 6/8 and slow or fast, all depending on divisions. Either way does it really matter?

@AttitudeCastle ever heard of a waltz? they're all in 3/4 at this tempo.
-
@jonz444 Do you have any cites to that? It has a sort of 2 accent feel but a count of 3, and so a kind of 6/8 feel. BUT I could be wrong (not saying you're wrong saying i'm not too sure) Could be either like I said, as it could be a flowing 6/8 or a quick 3/4
Though it's more likely to be a quick 3/4 i guess
-
@AttitudeCastle No, it is 100% in 3/4

Love Biffy and the killers.......And love this cover!!!!! MON THE BIFF! <3
-
@ih11son Since seeing that i'm trying to work it out haha! Could be either no definitive way of knowing, as there are no clear quaver sections. Most likly 6/8 though as otherwise it would be a really fast 3/4 haha!
-
@ih11son ohhh big brainy man talk.
-
@ih11son fuck yeah, music theory! I like that the cover is different to the original; Straight covers are dull as
@fwuffleclouds15 All of Biffy's covers are really strange at first but if you give it a while to sink in, you'll end up liking it! :)

@therealdooty English Translation - When i saw the title, i said "please, dont kill it", because i somewhat enjoy Biffy Clyro, however this song seems to be, in my opinion more favourable between the two. It's not bad, but I believe that the orginal composition of the song, seems to better the cover. But the good gentlemen of Biffy Clyro deserve some praise. At the end of the day, Mr Neil has similar features to a popular religous figure known as, Jesus, and therefore must be the "best".
