Minecraft theft trap

A simple trap I made in Minecraft. It uses water, redstone, sand, a pressure plate, and torches. When a theif wants the diamond in the chest, they are forced to step on a plate, which releases water, destroys a torch, dropping sand. Each time a block of sand drops, it destroys a torch. Which drops another sand block, ect.

make the wall with bedrock using toomany items so that they cannot dig their way out

Id just drown my theives in water with a floodgate at high level of water Easier to reset. just close the gate. No sand included. Or batteries for that matter.

@Thiboke3 dig one hole deeper then after u the water flows that way, fill in the same hole again

i try'd it a couple of times and the water keeps going it wont stop with the redstone circuit..

wait couldnt the griefer quickly take the diamonds out the next time he comes he could just pick them off the ground or to try or just come and take the diamonds out of the chest?
