Its sometimes said that if it wasn't for Cochrane, Chile could still possibly be a part of Spain. Its wonderful to see how much Chile respects one the finest Scots there ever was. Its a damn shame that he is hardly known at all in Scotland.

yo tambien estuve, con la banda de gaiteros en la que toco (somos de buenos aires, argentina).
se trata de un evento donde se juntan las bandas de gaiteros de sudamerica.
estuvo muuuuuy bueno!!!!!!!

I didn't know you still celebrated his part in Chilean independence. Cochrane was Britain's best frigate captain. I'm reading his memoirs at the moment, a great fighting captain!
