I find the carrier branding ruins, i have the telus one and i just got the bottom piece replaced... why have a ugly logo stamped on it???????

I am buying this phone on wednesday.. if you are using a free wireless at like a coffee shop do you get charged for that on your phone bill? I don't really get that part..

It seems that the bold 9700 carried by the american carriers have a brighter keypad.
I have the Telus version and I was hoping the keypad would've been brighter. Oh well.

@gymnastics404 you can actually type over the 160 limit multiple times if you really need to. it's pretty awesome.

can you switch this to edge by going into manage connections??

You can select 2G and 3G. 3G is only available on Telus, Telus does not have an edge network.

What i mean by this is that telus only offers a 3G network they do not offer an edge network. were rogers offers a 3G network and a edge network to fall back on. so an Edge only device will not work on a telus account.
