I have sung Elvis songs for many years. I've tried to copy his vocals exactly. In order to do that, I had to listen to the songs over and over and over again. For years. I can imitate the vocals to some degree. I've listened to others who can do better than I can. As a result, over the years I developed a very trained ear for the "real" Elvis. Jon sings very like Elvis, but he is not him. Jon doesn't claim to be Elvis. Quite the opposite. Appreciate his honesty. He is being honest.

@MrNtf6365 Performed fantastically! When I listen to How Great Thou Art, played by Jon, I can not keep the tears ... Svetlana

@SpartanPict Forgot to add: the reason that JC is the only guy covering Elvis that i'd listen to is that although Jon Cotner doesn't have the same technical ability and power that Elvis Presley had, he has the same honesty, integrity and passion in his vocals.

@theredneckhippie He's not. There are 350 MILLION people in America. Is it so hard to beleive that just one could sing like Elvis Presley did?
This is the only impersonator of the flesh and blood that was Elvis A. Presley that i would ever listen to. I cannot abide all the others.
@sgeo2008 I hadn't heard of Jon Cotner before today. This clip is the 4th/5th I've played of "Jon" and am in shock for lack of a better word. I was going to post a reply when I read your comments and am unable to say it better than you have. The person singing this song IS Elvis. Now that means this Jon Cotner is either playing a hoax, passing Elvis recordings as his own or he IS Elvis. Impersonators never made/make me cry. This man has. You hit a bulls-eye w/Wooden Heart.
