Yes u are correct...it is a song directed at Mick. I grew up in the same town as Ed and pretty good friends with the drummer Billy...The record company used them as a write off and never pushed them...The second album was very over produced........ .

I remember a interview I saw with Ed Gagliardi,and he stated that this was a song about a "Dictator" he use to work with.Obvious it was Mick Jones who now is infamous for his iron fist control on Foreigner.Lou said "I want to know what love is" was his baby and Mick just took the money and control of the song and ran...Heard it here in Rochester on the radio.(Louie's hometown).
