i have an hd pvr and my comp cable doesnt have a switch on it and i try to click 1080i and it does the same thing that happened in the video and idk how to make it 1080i without a switch. PLEASE HELP!!

Component cables can handle 1080p if your TV supports 1080p through component.

LMAO my cheap hdtv can handle 1080p and on the manual it says the tv can only go up to 720p.
