I had *exactly* the same keyboard, threw it away years ago for some unexplainable reason, now I'm looking into building my own 555 synth with keyboard. How do you find/calculate the resistor values for each note?
-
Can you at least tell me where you got the keyboard?
I've been looking all over for resistor based ones.

@g00birax Interesting. I recently got a cheap toy keyboard off of ebay, but it wasn't resistor based. At least I can try to circuit bend it now.
And have you seen the atari punk keyboard video? Its similar to this.

@JSOvideo you can find them on the net,try google it.If you have an electronic tester you should put a potentiometer and search for the right key, when you find it watch on the tester screen how many ohm it takes and then put that kind of resistor. It's quite a long work cause you have to do it for each key! I'm doing it as well cause the keyboard is not tuned at all!!

@g00birax Ah ok. I actually found out how the resistors were wired, so I guess I'll be making my own keyboard.
Nice talking to you.

yes, but mine it's not an APC, it's only a single oscillator, i've just built another one and i think that i'm going to use it as an lfo

It's an horrible toy keyboard made in China that broke when i was trying to circuit-bend it. So I removed all the components and placed two switch and a photo-resistor.
Each key activates a different resistor.
